• Tis the season for giving! Many cannabis businesses give back to the community and are rarely highlighted for doing so. Ayr Wellness, which has dispensaries operating in multiple states will kick off its “12 Days of Giving” campaign. Starting Dec. 5 for every purchase at its dispensaries, $1.12 will be donated and ultimately help cannabis prisoners and their families. Some more cannabis giving back examples can be found in this High Times article. • While thousands of people applied for Cannabis pardons in Pennsylvania, fewer than 250 people have actually qualified to clear their records. The 231 cases that were selected for advancement will have to go through a final vote on Dec. 16 before going to Gov. Tom Wolf for pardoning. The program required applicants to have been convicted of simple cannabis possession but otherwise hold a clean record. |
