ā¢ Studies have shown the cannabis affects men and women differently. While the science behind everything is relatively new, and more studies continue to happen, it is interesting to highlight some of the differences that cannabis can have between the sexes. Ā One study published in 2020 found females exhibited greater peak blood concentrations of an important cannabis metabolite which lead to greater ratings of ādrug effect,ā which includes ratings of anxiousness, restlessness and heart racing.
